Magicite System

The current Magicite System only works for 2nd Edition, due to Technique Archetypes (Black, White, Blue, Tech, and Summon, I believe…Never seen hide nor hair of the 2nd Edition to be sure). And I'm pretty sure there are many Final fantasy 6 fans out there that would like an up-to-speed version of the Magicite system…So I give you MY Magicite System I developed over the course of two hours.

First Off, Tech Points gained by Magic is halfed. The reason for this is Ability Points, or ABP, is gained through battle to increase with the learning of all your spells / techs within the Magicite. You can spend 1 TP for 5 ABP for a single spell / tech listed with your equipped Magicite. ABP from battles, on the other hand, also increases the amount of the spells / techs learned, but as it is gained in battle, it affect all of your spells / techs, whereas Spending TP only affects a single spell / tech.

TP can be spent on Techs, but only on physical-type techs; such as Power Attacks, Quadra Slams, and any tech that the player can reasonably explain how it can be used without any magical element. (Fatal-Blow can be a decapitating attack, But a sword strike that causes mini will not be allowed, becuase there will be some sort of magic behind it. At least, That's how I would do it.)

To my next point: Characters gain an amount of ABP equal to (Total Monsters' XP) divided by (Number of Monsters *5). and given to each character as that amount. Let's give an example to clarify…

Your party just defeated four Level 1 Goblins. The XP reward for this is total at 140 XP. So each member of the party, 3 total, recieves…

(4*35=140) / (4*5=20) = 7/3 = 2 ABP

Now, You add this to your current ABP for each spell on the equipped Magicite. The value to reach to point of a permanently learned 'normal' spell / tech is as follows…

Tech Lv 1_=40 ABP
Tech Lv 2_=90 ABP
Tech Lv 3_=210 ABP
Tech Lv 4_=480 ABP
Tech Lv 5_=1125 ABP
Tech Lv 6_=2500 ABP

'Summon' spells / techs are just like normal spells, with the exception that they have the Boost secondary attached (The +1 MP modifier version, that increases damage by 25%, or the Magic stat by 25% if using healing. See Rules Dump for Details) to Summons that deal damage or heal damage. In addition to Amplify, they gain Area Effect at Lvl 2 and up for no addition MP cost. The ABP cost of a summon spell / tech is double that of a 'normal' spell / tech. So it looks like this.

The level of the 'normal' spells / techs cannot exceed the level of the Summon
